Energy price

Electricity supply to the Vidin Region, 147 communities on an area of approximately 3,080 km2, is provided by Pleven Electricity Distribution Co., Vidin branch.
The branch serves all communities within the region. Vidin Electricity Distribution works in four technical areas: Vidin - city; Vidin - out of city; Koula and Belogradchik. In both the household and the public sector, the company serves about 90,023 subscribers.
The Vidin - city technical area provides services to:
the city of Vidin
Vidin - out of city area:the communities within the municipalities of Vidin, Novo Selo and Bregovo
Koula area: the municipalities of Koula, Boynitsa, Gramada and Makresh
Belogradchik area: the municipalities of Belogradchik, Rouzhintsi, Dimovo and Chuprene
The company maintains two 110/20кV transformer stations - Gumzovo and Belogradchik. Two radial 110 кV power lines with a total length of 23 km feed the transformer stations. There are four hubs, in Vidin, Koula, Dimovo and Gramada.
The company maintains 585 local transformers, of which 163 10 кV and 422 20 кV. Within the region, there are also about 390 alien local transformers. Total installed medium/low voltage transformer capacity is about 223.7 МVА.
The length of overhead 20 kV lines maintained by the company is: 1423.6 km for one triple, and 123.9 for two triples; 89 km 20 kV cable lines; and 117.2 km 10 kV cable lines. Overhead low voltage connections' length is 1,224 km.
